"Good shows, but I remember the app being smoother"
I’ve been enjoying the drama selection, and from what I remember, the subtitles are usually solid. The main thing that bugs me is the ads, sometimes it feels like there are just way too many. The app also freezes on my TV now and then, which I don’t remember happening as much before. It’s still usable, but I really wish it were a bit more stable.

"I mostly signed up for Viki to…"
I mostly signed up for Viki to get rid of the ads, i’m really glad I did. I watch a few episodes most nights, so the subscription feels like a great deal compared to renting or buying shows elsewhere. The subtitles are usually solid, and there’s such a good variety to choose from. If you’re into Asian dramas, it’s kind of a no-brainer!

"Support Did the Right Thing"
I had a login issue and reached out to support, and they fixed it really quickly. that’s how customer service should be, if something goes wrong, it’s only right to help people without making them jump through hoops. Happy with how they handled it.

"Good app, but the subtitle situation feels misleading"
I do enjoy using viki and it’s still a solid place to watch dramas, but I feel a bit misled sometimes with the subtitles. Some shows get great subs really quickly, while others take days or barely have any language options at all. I expected it to be more consistent, so it can be frustrating when I’m ready to watch and the subs just aren’t there yet.

"Wish I Hadn’t Started Watching There"
I tried watching a show on Viki i kind of regret it. The ads were just way too much. It felt like every few minutes the episode would stop again, and sometimes it was multiple ads back to back. I totally understand free sites need ads to keep going, but this felt over the top. It kept breaking the mood so badly that half the time I forgot what was even happening in the story. I really wanted to enjoy the show, but the experience just made me wish I’d watched it somewhere else.

"Frustrating when shows aren't available"
i mean, I do like Viki when it actually has the drama I’m looking for, but it feels like so many titles are missing or just not available in my country. I’ll see clips online, get interested, and then I can’t find the full show on the app. For the price, the library feels random, and even some older shows seem to disappear. It’s not totally useless, but it’s definitely frustrating, so I’d give it 2 stars

"Really helpful for learning Korean"
I’ve been using the subtitles to pick up Korean, and they’ve helped me learn new words quickly. It’s a simple thing, but it makes a big difference.

"Totally Calm About the Spoilers"
Viki itself is fine, really. I’m totally not annoyed or anything, but the spoiler control could be way better. I had major moments ruined by comments and previews before I even started the episodes, which was... super relaxing, obviously.

"No Buffering, But Just Be Careful"
I didn’t have any buffering issues when I used it, which was a relief. Everything played smoothly for me. That said, I’d still tell others to be a little cautious and make sure your setup or internet connection is solid, because experiences can vary...

"Overall, it's been okay, but I kind of…"
Overall, it's been okay, but I kind of regret not paying more attention to the subtitles before. Some of them feel a little off sometimes, like the timing or wording doesn't quite match what's being said. It's not a dealbreaker, but it can be distracting when you're trying to follow along...

"Doesn’t work on my devices"
This has been frustrating. I paid for viki thinking I’d just be able to watch my shows, but nope. It keeps telling me my device isn’t supported, and my stuff isn’t even that old.
Tried it on my smart TV. Then my tablet. Same kind of mess, just different problems. Subtitles won’t load right on one. The other freezes, crashes, or just gives up completely.

I checked the support pages too, but they didn’t really help. Feels like you need the one perfect device for the app to work properly. Too much hassle for something I’m paying for...

"Decent app, but finding shows is weirdly hard"
I actually like using it once I find something to watch, but getting there is kind of annoying. Search sometimes completely misses titles I know are on there, and browsing feels messy and a little overwhelming. It’s not terrible, and I still use it, but it also makes something simple feel harder than it should.

"Episodes usually show up on time, surprisingly enough"
New episodes typically drop quickly, which is nice. Every now and then they’re a little late, but I guess we’re supposed to just be grateful it’s not worse.

"Decent app, but it feels a little impersonal"
I mostly use viki on my phone, and for the most part it gets the job done. Episodes usually load fine, but the app can feel kind of clunky. Sometimes the subtitles lag or switch in a weird way, which gets annoying when I’m trying to stay into a show. Finding something to watch isn’t always as easy as it should be either, and my Continue Watching row gets messy fast. It’s not a bad app, but the menus could definitely be smoother. Overall, I like using it, but it does sometimes feel like I’m just a ticket number instead of someone they’re really trying to make the experience better for.

"Good selection, just caught me at the wrong time"
I’ve found a lot of dramas and movies here that I don’t really see anywhere else, which is nice. A few shows are missing certain seasons, though, and of course I noticed right when I was ready to binge one of them, bad timing on my part, I guess. Overall, still a solid selection...

"Good shows, but the freezing gets old"
The shows are good, no question there, but the streaming freezes way too often. I mean, you’d think basic playback would be the one thing that just works. It’s frustrating when you’re actually into something and it keeps stopping.

"Canceling Was Hassle-Free"
I ended up canceling after I was billed, but it wasn’t a big deal. The whole thing felt straightforward, and nothing about the process came across as frustrating or shady. Overall, it seemed handled in a fair and reasonable way.

"Recommendations don’t really line up"
I like using viki overall, but the show recommendations feel hit or miss. I’ve noticed I tend to watch certain genres and actors, so I’d expect the suggestions to pick up on that pattern, but a lot of them feel kind of random. Some days it’s like the app isn’t really looking at what I actually watch

"I mostly use viki when I’m traveling..."
I mostly use viki when I’m traveling, especially on flights or when hotel Wi-Fi is being weird, and the offline downloads have been really useful. I like being able to grab a few episodes ahead of time, though I’ve noticed some episodes take longer to save than others, even when my connection seems fine. Once they’re downloaded, playback is smooth for me, no random buffering or anything. Overall it’s a solid app, I just wish the download speed was a little more consistent.

"Clear picture and honestly worth it"
I’ve been really happy with the video quality. Shows come through clear and sharp, even when I’m just watching on my laptop. Every now and then it takes a second to load, but once it does, it looks great. I appreciate when something actually delivers on what it promises, and this feels like that.
