I’m new to Viki and I can start by saying that I obtained a pass subscription of 8.33 and is still watching ads, make it make since? I paid for an upgrade in my subscription to watch this movie without the ads and I am still watching the movie with the ads. I have viewed 6 ads in less than 10 min each being 1 min long, this company is a joke. Why waste your time and money.

"Unauthorized charge from this website today"
I've never heard of this website before but they attempted to bill an almost brand new credit card of mine for the odd total of $1.00 today (and I'm reading on their site that it looks like the minimum monthly subscription fee is $4.99) (?). In any case, I had to have my card canceled and a new one issued. It looks as though someone obviously managed to steal my cc info, but what the $1.00 charge was for remains a mystery to me.

"I don't like that you cannot skip the…"
I don't like that you cannot skip the intro and choose to skip it on all the epidotes like they do on IQIYI. Netflix allows you to skip the intro. Also, allot of the episodes have no sound. Also, I don't like that you cannot fast forward and not see where you are fast forwarding too. I can fast forward on both Netflix and IQIYI and see where I am going.

They will keep charging your card EVEN after you cancel your credit card and change account number. They are the worst!!! Do not even think about it!!!

"Signing for free trial and paying for the yearly subscription"
I signed up for the free trial followed by the monthly subscription. They asked for my card info for the monthly subscription and even mention that I would only be charged on April 4th. A few hours later I checked my bank account and noticed that I was charged the YEARLY subscription. Apparently, somewhere along the way of the normal registration, they switched it to yearly, without any warning or information that this was happening.

After I contacted the customer support they said that I upgraded my subscription and so my free trial was canceled, and that they would not refund my money.

Even better than that, is that the quality of the stream is still terrible even though they just took a year worth of subscriptions.

This shows that they have little respect for the client and that the customer support is close to useless. I will definitely not recommend this streaming service, as you may also be mislead into paying more than you agreed.

"Viki used to be great,but now suck"
I have subscribed to Viki for years & they use to be great. Now, they suck. I have the premium " Viki Plus" subscription. I will be watching a show and then the next day, missing episodes. Happening more and more and not just via Roku. I was on episode 37 of She And Her Perfect Husband in the afternoon and came back to see only "29 of 40 episodes available". Same deal with Hi Venus. I was only episode 13, turned back on to find only 7 episodes available. Really frustrating.

"Don't subscribe until they fix their problem. Episode are cut off or not working at all"
This is so frustrating. The episodes don't even start. They're either cut off in between or not working at all. Their customer service sending the same thing over and over again. They asked for proof and you gave them proof and say they fixed it. In the end it is still the same thing. Not working overall, what a waste of money.

Programming good but the app is a dud. If I see another "Oh No! Something has gone wrong" I think I will scream!!! I am sick of "Try again" messages. As well as "can't connect to server", "log on again", "Cant generate pin number"!!!! I don't have any problems with any other apps

"I wish I read these reviews before…"
I wish I read these reviews before getting a Viki subscription. Every time I’m watching a drama, in the middle of an episode, a 404 error shows pops up on the page. Also the save time for shows are not accurate. I would pause and exit an episode and when I go back to watch it, it’s about 10-15 minutes behind from where I originally paused it. Sometimes, the whole episode just starts over randomly. Also the app version on Apple TV or Fire TV is terrible. The app isn’t user friendly at all and the subtitles are slow as well. If possible, use a different platform to watch your shows. Also the refund policy is terrible too and they label anything as “accidental” to not give you your charge back. Plus the support team responds to your tickets in Chinese which makes it hard to understand the process of your tickets if you’re not familiar with the language. I had to translate all their responses online. Anyways, if you’re thinking about subscribing to Viki, please save your money and don’t. If Dramafever was still active, I would’ve stuck with them.

"New Policy of GREED!"
They have recently implemented a couple of onerous policies for current subscribers that screams plain and simple GREED! First: those with standard subscription now have to contend with advertisements. To get to what you had originally enjoyed when you first signed up, you'd have to pay an additional $49.99 annually. Second: they have placed highly rated shows, old and new, under Viki Plus, an upgraded subscription meaning MORE MONEY! Shows that we enjoyed before, we can no longer rewatch unless we upgrade our subscription. If you're thinking of subscribing, I advise you not. It's a money trap and these people have no integrity. SHAME OM YOU, VIKI

"no continue playing"
I love Viki, but the continue playing function doesn't work. Not only does it not register at what time you stop watching an episode, but it sometimes doesn't show the series in there at all. It's been like this for over a year now.

"Has recently become unusable."
Constantly get part way through a show only to switch to constant buffering.
Happens on both Firestick and MiStick
Used to work OK, and all other apps still working perfectly.
Have given up using Viki due to their abysmal technical abilities.

This site is definitely a scam!!
I subscribed two years ago to watch something that wasn't available on other streaming sites but even after I canceled my account I was charged and on top of that my email was changed to an email that was not mine very easily. When I requested a refund I was charged instead. Don't ever use this company unless you are in for the long haul!

Good channel BUT the adverts spoil it there’s more adverts than drama which puts you right off can’t get into the dramas and enjoy them as adverts arrive at the best parts so will look for a better channel

IVE HAD TO REPORT FRAUD ON THEM TO MY BANK TO REFUND MY MONEY CAUSE VIKI.COM GIVES NO CUSTOMER SERVICE MEMBERSHIP PHONE # TO CALL & COMPLAIN. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY.
